When Uncle Eric was last in town he brought out this little pocket bike for Alexander to try. It has an electric motor, and he quickly learned how to use it. Before long he was zipping up and down the street. I started having all those motherly flashes that I thought weren't supposed to come until your kid is 15 and getting his permit.At least I can content myself that he is not a wanton thrill-seeker and has inherited from me a healthy dose of caution, as evidenced by his frequent need to "stop and rest" between runs.
